Motivational Embodied Conversational Agent for Brain Injury Rehabilitation

The design and development of a motivational embodied conversational agent for brain injury rehabilitation is discussed. Results initial prototype implementation, alpha beta testing phases are presented. Key aspects identified during included supporting user engagement via personalization choice-making; integrating behaviour change principles into dialogues; addressing clinical needs cognitive fatigue memory loss within conversation structure; optimizing feasibility use in real-life setting.
